Kapu ran through the snow,his paws dragging,but he still proceeded on.Then he noticed two wolves,they looked like alphas.He dipped his head in respect,"Greetings,I am Kapu,the Diamond Pack Warrior."He said and he looked at Kishka for information on what had happened.

Then he looked behind himself and saw his trail dotted with blood.He raised his paw,it was cut,and deeply too as he could see.He put it back into the snow,it hurt,but he tried to stand it as much as he could.He bit his lip and waited for Kishka to tell him what happened.

Kishka smiled at Kapu, "This is Whisker and this is Shadow," she pointed at each oen with her tail in turn, "they are the sapphire alphas." She smiled, "We have formed a semi-alliance, have we not, Whisker?" She turned to the other alpha, waiting for a response.

"Yes, we are in semi-alliance. Thus, you and your pack members may hunt on the outskirts of our terrain, and vis-versua for you?" Whisker asked, taking in the new scents. The air smelled faintly of bitterness, while the wind puffed his sides. The chill was enormous; It buffed any scent away, toward another place.

Kishka thought for a moment. "I think that our alliance should mean that in times of war- if there ever are any- we stand by each other. If one pack is in trouble the other can help. I don't think we should hunt on each other's lands unless there is a famine in ours. That would constitute as one pack helping the other." She looked at whisker, hoping he wouldn't take offense that she didn't completely agree with his idea of hunting in each other's lands.

"But, we would not mind if any of your pack hunts in that area of our Terrain though," Whisker told her. The chill was too chilly at the moment. Whisker shaked out his fur. He looked around, then back at Kishka.

Kishka nodded, unsure of what o say or do, "Well should we head on our seperate ways now or is there anything else that needs to be said?" TObe honest, she was tired, she needed sleep. She smiled at the other alphas, happy that her 'pack' had an alliance. She was so happy that Kapu supported her- what woudl she do without him- all by herself...

"I think not..." Whisker told the alpha and the warrior of Diamond Pack. They were alliances for during wars and battles, famine and drought. They were now friends amongst the many pack who might battle them for land, and they would help them as they would help there alliances.

Shadow layed still next to Whiskers and said nothing she rather go to sleep. Shadow raised as the others left and bowed her head and said nothing. Shadow then said '' Whiskers you think before the breeding season is over we could? ''

Whisker slightly bowed his head in thanks to the other pack Alpha. He sat on his haunches, and when Shadow asked him, he said, " Uh, sure..." He wasn't very good in these situations. He glanced at his mate.

'' If you don't want to then we don't have to ''Shadow said. Shadows iceblue crystal eyes looked into her mates as she spoke. Shadow then looked at his form and saw that he wasn't really ready to make this change.

Shadow was suddenly overcome by a strong hunger. She realized she hadn't eaten in a while. "One sec, I'm just gonna go hunt, I'll be right back." She licked Whisker fondly and trotted off into the woods. She licked her lips and she began to smell the scents of prey. Shadow dropped into a crouch and began to stalk a rabbit when she heard a sound behind her. "Hello?" she called out. Nothing answered. Shadows glanced around behind her. Nothing. Sighing she turned arounf, tof ind a cougar lay directly in front of her. Shadow started to growl. "Whis-" she started to call but it was cut short as the cougar pounced at her, just missing as she dodged out of the way. But she was weak and the cougar was strong. It would have her soon. The cougar slashed out with a massive paw, catching her across the throat. It was all that was needed. Shadow's legs buckled underneath her and she sank to the forest floor. She hadn't even been able to call for help. Slowly her last breath left her and she was dead.

((OOC from Admin: Sorry I had to kill her off- you hadn't been on since March and it is May.))

Kapu nodded respectfully at the alphas and followed Kishka at a brisky pace.Wondering what would happen if Kishka hadn't had him,all by herself.Alone in this cold,cold,world.
